Environmental Policy

At Andus Print, we believe that we are all responsible for protecting the environment and for minimising the impact our business has on it. We are a FSC®, PEFC and ISO 14001 certified printer, which helps us and our customers sustain the environment. 

We have looked at various aspects of our print production process and aim to reduce our environmental impact, these include:

• All machines run alcohol free

• We use vegetable based ink

• Our printing plates are imaged without the use of any chemistry

• Used printing plates are recycled

• PDF proofs are used where possible to reduce carbon footprint

• Used ink tins are recycled

• Used solvents are disposed of by a recognised, certified company

• Waste paper is sent away for recycling
